ABOUT DHARMA RIDGE

Dharma Ridge Farm was established in 2003 on Dharma Road, a ridge above the Chimacum valley. After moving around the valley leasing different parcels and searching for enough land to grow our farm we finally settled on the historic Boulton Farm, ten miles north of Quilcene, Washington.

As the farm expanded, we recognized the need for more land to allow for crop rotations, differing soil types, water access  and microclimates creating resilience for our operation during the challenges of a changing climate.  We currently lease 80 acres on the Historic Glendale farm located in the fertile Chimacum valley, this added land has helped us refine and grow our operation and is the site of our annual Pumpkin patch.

We actively farm around 70 of 181 WSDA Certified Organic acres; both properties are protected by the Jefferson Land Trust ensuring that these fruitful fields will be protected farmland forever.

Our fine vegetables can be found in stores across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and even as far as Anchorage Alaska!

Check out this link to a felt animation by: Andrea Love about the transition of Boulton Farms into a conservation easement which eventually led to our ability to purchase the farm from John Boulton.
